]]> helpdesk@gbcseagles.org (Administrator) Tue, 27 Mar 2012 18:23:29 GMT http://www.gbcseagles.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=198:gbcs-summer-band-camp Three PVAC Championships http://www.gbcseagles.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=192:three-pvac-championships Three of the four GBCS basketball teams won the PVAC regular season and tournament championships.  Congratulations to the middle school girls, JV boys, and varsity boys.  All of the teams won the title games in convincing fashion outscoring their opponents by 23 or more points.  The varsity boys made it to the Maryland Christian School Championship with an amazing come from behind victory versus New Life Christian from Frederick, but after leading most of the game against Chapelgate Christian they ran out of steam and lost 66 - 58. They finished a great season with a record of 32 wins and 3 losses.

GBCS will be holding an elementary soccer camp!  Practices begin Tuesday, March 13th, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Games will be held on Saturdays beginning April 14th and will run through May 12th.  There may be a few possible Thursday/Friday games as well.  The cost is $70 for the 1st child, $60 for your second child, and $50 for your 3rd child.  Price includes shirt, shorts, socks, trophy, and pizza.  An awards ceremony and pizza party will be on Saturday, May 12th right after the game.  Please see the Elementary Soccer brochure to sign up - these are available on the website and through Edline.  Additional copies are available in both the Education and Administrative offices.   ALL FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN BY FEBRUARY 24th - send in an envelope marked "For Mrs. Bigham" in to the Education Office.  There is a $10 late fee after the 24th (no exceptions, and does not guarantee a spot will be open!)
